Description
A portable grill from Berlin
consists of 2.5 mm (two and a half, as Berliners say) stainless steel plates and is produced in Berlin. Two waterproof 15 mm multiplex beech boards serve as transport packaging for the portable grill. These can also be used as serving or cutting boards.
Recesses in the underside and inside of the boards serve as compartments for the safety spring cotter pins.
The tensioning strap (width: 25 mm, with 450 daN) manufactured in Saxony holds the two wooden boards together. A comfortable carrying handle makes the barbecue look like a flat wooden bag.
The stainless steel plates are secured in the boards for transport by three steel cylinder pins (8 mm diameter, can be reordered if lost).
Dimensions when assembled (without wooden plates): H 23 cm x W 23.5 cm x L31 cm
Packed with wooden boards: H 3.5 cm (without wooden boards: 1 cm) x W 34 cm x L 32.5 cm https://youtu.be/ZYA8Cdrw1_Q
Important NOTE:
Stainless steel is a poor conductor of heat. The heat from the charcoal does not radiate downwards. The barbecue can be placed on the English lawn without hesitation. One of the two wooden boards supplied can also be used as additional protection.
Nevertheless, it is essential to observe the local regulations for barbecuing. Our tip when barbecuing near water:
The barbecue can be held in the water to cool down when secured with a rope (!!!!).
