{"id":23918,"date":"2016-10-28T11:12:13","date_gmt":"2016-10-28T09:12:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/zweenhalb.de\/recipes-ketchup\/"},"modified":"2022-08-09T17:52:56","modified_gmt":"2022-08-09T15:52:56","slug":"recipes-ketchup","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/zweenhalb.de\/en\/recipes-ketchup\/","title":{"rendered":"Recipes ketchup"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>CURRY ketchup<\/h3>\n<p>2 tablespoons olive oil<br \/>\n1 medium yellow onion, chopped<br \/>\n4 cloves garlic, chopped<br \/>\n1 tablespoon tomato paste<br \/>\n1 tsp sea salt<br \/>\n1 tablespoon ground yellow curry<br \/>\n1 tsp ground mustard<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp smoked paprika<br \/>\n1\/4 tsp allspice<br \/>\nLarge pinch of ground cloves (2 pieces)<br \/>\napprox 800 ml crushed tomatoes<br \/>\n1\/2 cup brown sugar<br \/>\n1\/4 cup apple cider vinegar<br \/>\nHeat olive oil over medium heat in a small to medium saucepan. Saut\u00e9 onions until soft and begin to brown after about 6 to 8 minutes. Add garlic and sweat, about a minute. Add tomato paste, salt and all spices and stir until they are all evenly mixed. Simmer for another minute. Add crushed tomatoes, sugar and vinegar. Simmer uncovered, over low heat for about 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and blend with a hand blender until smooth.<\/p>\n<h3>Healthy ketchup<\/h3>\n<p>200g tomato paste (from 100% tomatoes)<br \/>\n\u00be cup water<br \/>\n2 tablespoons raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar<br \/>\n2 tablespoons <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2JbvyQB\" rel=\"nofollow\">raw honey <\/a> <img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;\" src=\"http:\/\/ir-de.amazon-adsystem.com\/e\/ir?t=pride03-21&amp;l=as2&amp;o=3&amp;a=B00PE1W7E2\" alt=\"\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\"><br \/>\n\u00bd teaspoon crystal or sea salt<br \/>\n1 onion chopped<br \/>\n2 pinches allspice<br \/>\n2 pinches cloves<br \/>\na little garlic and\/or chili to taste<\/p>\n<p>Place all ingredients (except honey) in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring. Simmer the ketchup over low heat, stirring occasionally, for 20 minutes (With lid on pot!).
